Brands Hatch March 23rd - 24th

As you know Nick and Cris were racing at Brands Hatch on Easter weekend. We had dreadful weather with snow, sleet and rain for both days. It was bitterly cold but despite all this there was a great turn out of over 12,000 spectators for the racing on Monday and we believe everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I am pleased to say that Nick took away 2 trophies for taking second and third place in  class B. He also managed to get an award for making up the most places through the races as unfortunately on the Sunday in Qualifying he spun off into the gravel trap and therefore started the first race on Monday at the back of the pack.

Despite the torrential weather we had, in qualifying Cris made first in class which meant on Monday morning he was to start at the front of the pack. However, after having a great start Cris unfortunately spun at one of the bends, as did many others during the race, as the trucks that had been racing before had spilt diesel all over the track. Cris managed to claw his way back up and finished forth in class in the end, unfortunately though not taking home any trophies.

This was a great start to the season and now look forward to visiting Brands later in the year, when hopefully the weather is a lot better.
